OpenMontage turns your AI coding assistant into a video production studio
Agentic video workflows, 700+ production skills, open source. Ship video automation without building it from scratch.
calesthio/OpenMontage ↗Video production is a series of repeatable steps: shoot, edit, add graphics, export, upload. OpenMontage lets you teach an AI agent those steps once, then hand it a script or raw footage and walk away. It bundles 12 production pipelines (social clips, long-form edits, subtitles, thumbnails) and 700+ skill files that tell agents how to use After Effects, FFmpeg, or your own tools. Instead of hand-coding each workflow, you get a template-based system where agents understand "make a 60-second TikTok from this interview" as a task, not a mystery. For entrepreneurs selling video services, that's the difference between 2 hours per project and 20 minutes.

Just found OpenMontage, and I had to stop what I was doing. This is the first open-source agentic video production system I've seen ship with 12 production pipelines and 700+ agent skills built in. What that means: you can turn your AI coding assistant into a full video studio without rebuilding the workflows from scratch. I've been watching the agentic video space for two years. The gap between 'AI can generate clips' and 'AI can ship a production pipeline' has been massive. This closes it. If you're building video automation into a product or want to productize video-gen as a service, the time-to-first-ship just dropped hard. Worth an hour to understand what's in the repo.
OpenMontage is live: open-source agentic video production system with 12 production pipelines and 700+ agent skills. Basically turns your AI assistant into a full video studio. The gap between 'AI generates clips' and 'AI ships production workflows' just got smaller. https://github.com/calesthio/OpenMontage
